Directions:  From Dixon, go 3 miles west on Hwy. 133.  Site entrance is on the left (southeast) side.
 
When to Visit/Species to Expect:  Late spring, summer.  Pine Warblers and Chipping Sparrows, and other oak-hickory species (e.g., Eastern Wood-pewees, Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-headed Woodpecker) are likely.
 
Features of interest to birders:  Pines, one-acre mowed area, grass and oak-hickory forest near the tower provide easy, pleasant viewing opportunities.
