All Missouri birders are invited to “BIRDS OF THE LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY,” a zoom-based program sponsored by the Missouri Birding Society. MBS vice president Edge Wade draws on her 25 years of winter birding in south Texas to acquaint Missouri birders with the species found in the LGRV. Topics include discussion of species not found elsewhere in the U.S., comparisons to similar species found in Missouri, habitats of the valley, where to look for hard-to-find species, and other information geared to make a trip to the Lower Rio Grande Valley a highlight of a Missouri birder’s experiences.
