Check pines for Pine Warbler and, in invasion winters, Pine Siskin, Red-breasted Nuthatch, crossbills. Black Vultures have been seen here in summer and autumn. Features of interest to birders: Pines, 1 acre glade, 2 acres of savanna. Short paved disabled accessible trail and three-quarter mile hiking trail give access to glade and oak-hickory.
