Entrance to the access is on the north (right) side of MO 7 just before the bridge. From Richland city limits, go 5.1 miles east on MO 7 to east side of bridge over the Gasconade River. Entrance to the access is on the north (left) side of MO 7. When to Visit/Species to Expect: Spring, summer, autumn. Nesting Cliff Swallows on bridge, riparian species. Features of interest to birders: This small area offers an opportunity to view the river at river level and check for species present in an area with very limited public access. Toilets: None Camping: None Hazards/Limitations: Gasconade floods can be severe. River has flooded as high as the bridge.
